- The method of packaging maintains a cylindrical form but, when empty can be axially compressed to a fraction of its initial volume. The packaging (1) has alternate inner and outer circumferential fold lines which form corrugations in the longitudinal direction. The packaging can thus be compressed axially in concertina fashion to a compact shape. This facility makes it easier to handle and to recycle the used packaging. The fold lines may also be formed as lines of weakness so that when compressed the packaging becomes a stack of rings. USE - Packaging which may be folded concertina fashion when empty.
