摘要：: A method places a metallic layer (120) between printing and a semi-permeable container (105) to protect the contents of the container from printed layer inks and adhesives. The method comprises obtaining a semi-permeable containe r (105) having a polymeric external surface, obtaining a metallic layer (120), placing the metallic layer against the external surface, and melting at leas t a portion of the external surface beneath the metallic layer (120). The metallic layer (120) may include metallized polyester. A safe container (115 ) comprises a semi-permeable container (105) having a polymeric external surface, and a metallic layer (120) bonded directly to the external surface.
