- The windscreen wiper or rear window wiper for a motor vehicle has the wiper arm (10) fixed to the hollow actuating shaft (11) in which the nozzle body (50) is fitted. The nozzle of the windscreen washer is fitted in the head (51) at the outer end of the nozzle body (50). - The nozzle head (51) has an annular groove. The outer wall of this annular groove fits over the outer wall of the end portion of the actuating shaft. A sealing ring is fitted between these two walls to prevent water sprayed from the washer nozzle, flowing back into the wiper actuating mechanism.
