<p>1298845 Louvre doors PRODUCTOS INTERNACIONALES DE MADERA SA 26 March 1970 [27 March 1969] 14689/70 Heading E1J A plastics louvre door having fixed louvres 15 is constructed by a plastics frame formed by two hollow stiles 1 reinforced by partitions 3, 4, top, bottom and middle rails 21 (25, 30 not shown) mounted between the stiles and are of hollow construction with reinforcing partitions 22, 23 and a longitudinal insertion strip 11 of I-section between each stiles and the louvres 15, the stiles each having on the inwardly facing sides a slot 5 formed by two parallel fins 6, 7 and arranged to slidably receive therein a T-section rib 9, 10 on one face of the web 8 of the strip 11 said strip having on the other face of the web, a longitudinal rib 13 disposed nearer one web edge, which rib 13 fits into a recess 14 in the end of each louvre 15 to maintain the louvres in position. Each louvre 15 is hollow and has a sloping fin 18 and reinforcing partitions 16, 17 and a rib 19 on the upper surface fits into a corresponding recess 20 in the lower surface of the next upper adjacent louvre, with similar construction of the top and bottom and middle rail, whereby the louvres disposed one on top of the other are assembled together. The corner joints are made by inserting laths into the hollow spaces 36, 37 and 38 so as to overlap at right angles and gluing together the overlapping portions. The middle rail has a lath perpendicular from the stile inserted into a hollow space and glued therein.</p>
