摘要：: PURPOSE:To obtain pellets with a required stable shape by a method wherein a resin extruded from a plurality of outlets facing in the downward direction of an extrusion die through a plurality of resin passages with a built-in flow rate adjusting valve, is cut by means of a rotating cutter and a releasing agent-contg. cooling water is sprayed on the pellets just after cutting from the lower side. CONSTITUTION:A resin cooled at a specified temp. by means of a feed cooler is divided into two resin passages 38 being horizontal and in parallel each other from a pipeline 18 and is extruded from four extrusion die outlets 41 through four resin passages 38a extending just downward from the midway of the passage 38. A flow rate adjusting valve 40 is provided in a resin passage 39a. A rotating cutter 43 brought into contact with the lower face of a die plate 42 is arranged on the lower face of the die outlet 41 and a spray pipe 6 for spraying a releasing agent-contg. cooling water to the die outlet 41 and a cooling water tank are provided below the die outlet 41. The flow rate of the resin is adjusted to be constant by means of the flow rate adjusting valve 40 and the releasing agent-contg. cooling water is used for preventing pellets from adhering to the blade of a cutter 43 and fusing among pellets each other.
