Glass fibre reinforced plastics tank has a top filling entry or manhole hatch composed of inner and outer plastics pressings fitted with collars and flanges. The flanges are glued to the pressed-smooth tank wall between so that they clamp this, whilst the collars are also glued to each other in the completed tank. A chopped fibre reinforced plastics flange ring is placed round the outer component collar. Polyester or epoxy resin adhesives are recommended for use. Cheap to assemble, easy to fit, providing excellent seal, the job requires no skilled labour.
