Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tomographic breast imaging system has a top plate 12 having a hole 14 for passing the breast B, a body movement detecting means 191 for detecting the movement of the mammo, an X-ray generating device 20 for irradiating a corn beam of the X-ray, an X-ray detector 18 for detecting the incident intensity of the X-ray, a base 16 for mounting the X-ray generating device 20 and the X-ray detector 18 and rotating around a rotating axis A, and an image reconstructing means 125 for generating the X-ray tomographic image of the breast from the plurality of X-ray transmitting image data obtained while the base rotates, the X-ray tomographic image of the breast is corrected from the movement of the breast B detected by the body movement detecting means 191.
