- <p>A packaging assembly is composed of >=1 foam moulding, esp. of polystyrene, and an envelope formed from a carton-type section of cardboard, plastics or the like. The cartont-ype section has at least a bottom and sidewalls and is glued to the foam moulding. To the sidewalls are joined flaps forming edges, and the moulding has an edge whose height corresponds with these edges. The moulding and the carton-type section are glued together only in the region of the edges. Used for packaging delicate articles. The assembly has a pleasing appearance and low consumption of glue, and is tamper-proof because the envelope cannot be sepd. from the moulding without destroying the packagE.</p>
