摘要：: <p>The covering strip serves to seal a wall flashing (w) from water flowing down from the upright part (F) of the building, such as the external wall face. It is designed for rapid and simple installation, with expansion joints, without involving welding, soldering or riveting. The set of components for this includes a metal batten (1), open on one side, for the actual covering strip. Retainer elements (2), displaceable in the lengthways direction, fit into this with a form-locking effect. There are also one-piece connecting elements made of elastic material, for insertion in the metal batten, and these incorporate a bulge-shaped expansion joint seal.</p>
