摘要：: <p>New substd. alpha-phenylalkanoic acid 3-phenoxybenzyl esters are of formula (I) (where X is O or S; R is halo- substd. 1-2C alkyl; R1 is halogen; R2 is 2-4C alkyl, 2-4C alkenyl or cycloropyl; and R3 is H, CN, 1-2C alkyl or ethynyl). (I) are insecticides and acaricides with better activity than known cpds. of similar structure. They are well tolerated by plants, and their toxicity to warm-blooded animals is low. They are suitable for use in agriculture, forestry, in stored prods., and materials protection, and in the hygiene sector.</p>
