PURPOSE:To enable to separate desired signals in excellent manner out of the mixed signals, by the cascade connection of the post-stage filters which have the impulse response almost equal to the inversion of time axis of the output signal waveform after the front-stage filters. CONSTITUTION:The filter characteristics are set so that the impulse response of the poststage filter 1b in a filter device 1 is the inversion of the time axis of the output signal waveform of the front-stage filter 1a. This is the same for the filters 2a, 2b in the filter device 2. Further, the input side of the divices 1, 2 is in parallel connection and an input signal is fed from a common input terminal 3 at the same time, and the respective output appears at the output terminals 4 and 5. With this constitution, unnecessary frequency components mixed in the output of the first- stage filter are rejected, and the signal obtained at the output terminal has higher S/N ratio. Thus, this can be effective for the separation of the waveform having a short duration time such as burst signal.
