PURPOSE:To obtain a stator core which does not magnetically saturate in a toothed part and a yoke section even if the magnetic flux density of an air gap is increased by reducing the thickness of a laminated core by selecting the height in a yoke and the slot of the toothed part in a specified relationship. CONSTITUTION:The yoke of a stator core and slots of toothed part are formed to become a relationship of 1.80<=pi.D/(dts.S1)<=1.90, 1.80<=D(hys.P)<=1.90 where the inner diameter of the core is represented by D, the width of the tooth is by dts, the number of the slots is by S1, the height of the yoke is by hys and the number of poles is by P. In this manner, thickness of the stator core can be reduced, and the capacity of an operating condenser can be reduced in a washing motor and in a motor having excellent characteristics.
