摘要:
PURPOSE:To enable quick and exact quantitative determination of a very small amt. of hydroperoxide type lipid peroxide with ease by adding a sample to be detected of lipid peroxide in a soln. contg. a compd. which generates active enzyme by reacting with the lipid peroxide and a sensitizer and measuring the quantity of the light emitted by the same. CONSTITUTION:The measurement of the lipid peroxide which induces a trouble in the circulatory organ system, more particularly, the quantitative determination of hydropoeroxide type lipid peroxide is accomplished by adding a salt or hydroxide of a transition metal which forms bivalent cation, for example, FeCl2, MnCl2 or the like or hydroxide thereof (reagent 1), a complex of a transition metal in a bivalent state, for example, polyphyline iron complex or the like (reagent 2) and any among hemeprotein such as ketochrome C, hemeenzyme such as horse radish peroxidase and hemepeptide (reagent 3) to a dilute soln. of the sample to be examined (serum), adding a sensitizer which emits light by reacting with active enzyme such as luminol to the active enzyme generated by said soln., measuring the optical density thereof and comparing the same with a calibration curve obtd. by using t-butyl hydroperoxide, etc. The concn. in he sample is thus quantitatively determined.
