PURPOSE:To prevent vanes from chattering, by forming, in a rear side block, a second coolant gas passage which may connect between a gas discharge system and a damper hole and between the former and a vane back pressure chamber when gas is fed into a first coolant gas passage. CONSTITUTION:A first coolant gas passage 19 and a second coolant gas passage 32 are formed in a back pressure change-over valve 31 in a compressor 30. The coolant gas passage 32 is formed in a rear side block 4 such that the second coolant gas passage 32 may connect a coolant gas discharge system with a damper hole 16 and a vane back pressure chamber 12 when coolant gas 14 is fed into the first coolant gas passage 19. Accordingly, it is possible to coolant gas of a high discharge pressure may be fed to the vane back pressure chamber to prevent insufficient back pressure.
