PURPOSE:To provide a simple structure, with less number of components, of light weight and low manufacturing cost by forming the light incident face of a solar cell of transparent resin, and integrally sealing and molding the cell with the resin. CONSTITUTION:Solar cells 2a, 2b, 2c are entirely sealed with transparent resin 1 and formed in an integral structure. The mechanical strength of a solar cell module is held by transparent resin 1. A light incident to the module is transmitted through the resin 1 to the solar cells, and converted to electric energy. Currents generated by the cells 2a, 2b, 2c are coupled by mutually connecting leads 3a, 3b, and externally produced from a predetermined position (not shown) in the module. When the transparent resin employs, for example, transparent epoxy resin, etc., 85% of permeability for a light having 400-1000nm of wavelength with 2mm of thickness is obtained.
