- PURPOSE:To monitor the states of a plurality of transmission and distribution lines at the same time, by connecting a plurality of auxiliary stations and parent stations connected to various sensors for estimating the normal states and abnormal states of the transmission and distribution lines, with two optical fibers for communication, and by transmitting inspection results collected in the respective auxiliary stations, to the parent stations, to process the results with a computer. CONSTITUTION:By respective sensors 3-7 connected to auxiliary stations 2, detected signal is processed, and the normal and abnormal states of transmission and distribution lines are estimated, and the estimated inspection results are obtained. Then, by the auxiliary stations 2, the inspection results obtained by the respective sensors 3-7 are collected. After this, the inspection results collected in the auxiliary stations 2 are transmitted to a parent station 1 by optical fibers 10, 11, and by a computer 8, the inspection results are pattern-processed.
