PURPOSE:To prevent the abrasion of a cleaning blade, especially the tearing breakage of the cleaning blade which is liable to generate the early period, without deteriorating the picture quality of the toner by incorporating a particle having reverse electrification or non-electrification in the main component of the toner in an amount of about 1-5% based on the total amount of the toner. CONSTITUTION:The particle having the reverse electrification or the non- electrification is incorporated in the main component of the toner in the amount of 1-5% based on the total amount of the toner. By composing the toner as mentioned above, the particle and the main component of the toner are found to stick abundantly to the edge surface of the cleaning blade at the early period (at the fresh state of the cleaning blade), without suffering the electric repulsion of the cleaning blade which generates triboelectricity by the friction with a photosensitive body. Thus, the particles and the toners adhered, act as a lubricant at the contacting surface between the cleaning blade and the photosensitive body, thereby, the friction between the cleaning blade and the photosensitive body is prevented.
