- The skid protection control uses a modulator (3) for regulating the braking pressure in the hydraulic braking system. The control device (9) for the modulator ensures that the rate of increase of the braking pressure for one of the wheels on the opposite side to the braked wheel subject to the skid protection regulation is reduced to eliminate the need for similar regulation for this wheel. Pref., the opposing wheel lies in diagonal opposition to the braked wheel subject to the skid protection regulation. ADVANTAGE - Improved braking stability.
