- A process for the registering of the residual running time of a drying process in a program-controlled laundry dryer. After a pre-set ideal temperature has been reached in the drying system, the heating source is switched off for a short time and the cooling speed in the system is registered. The residual running time for the drying process is calculated in accordance with this cooling speed. ADVANTAGE - The process yields an exact time value for the residual time, taking into account all possible parameters.
