PURPOSE:To increase the sealing performance of a container, and generate a good sound when a cap is opened by a method wherein in the structure of a sealing part of a cap body made of a synthetic resin with high hardness, the annular protuberance is divided into a base part and a leading end part being thinner than the base part by a step which is located at the inner peripheral side of the annular protuberance, and on the inner peripheral side of the base part, a plurality of recessed parts are formed along the inner periphery. CONSTITUTION:A sealing part 7 is equipped with an annular groove 9 being in contact with a top part 9 of an opening 5, and an annular protuberance 10 being contact with the inner wall of the opening 5, and is integrally formed by a synthetic resin with high hardness. For this reason, the annular groove 9 is tightly joined to the top part 8 of the opening 5. The annular protuberance 10 for the sealing part 7 is divided into a base part 12 and a leading end part 13 being thinner than the base part 12 by a step 11 located on the inner peripheral side of the annular protuberance 10. On the inner peripheral side of the base part 12, a plurality of recessed parts 14 are formed, and the annular protuberance 10 is tightly joined to the inner wall of the opening 5 of a beer bottle. Since the sealing part of the cap body is made of a synthetic resin with high hardness, the cap body has pressure resistance and impact resistance, the sealability is properly maintained, and a cap opening sound becomes large.
