摘要：

PURPOSE:To diversify the function of a both-side carrying unit in a recorder. CONSTITUTION:The both-side carrying unit P is constituted of a reversing unit 30 and a refeeding unit 50. When only the unit 30 is attached, it selectively allows a sheet 17 where recording has been already performed to pass through a reverse carrying path 41 to be reversed or to pass through a switchback carrying path 40 to be switched back without being reversed, and then the sheet 17 is carried out from a carrying-out port 30c. Furthermore, when the unit 50 is also attached, it selectively allows the sheet 17 which is carried out to pass through a horizontal carrying path 51 to be carried in a device main body 10 again or to pass through an ejecting port 50c.
