- PURPOSE:To quickly display abnormality generated at a POS terminal equipment or its periphery on a host device. CONSTITUTION:The POS terminal equipment 1 is provided with an abnormality detecting means 4 for detecting the abnormality of an apparatus and an abnormality input means 5 for receiving the input of an abnormal state on the periphery of the equipment 1, and the apparatus abnormality detected by the means 4 or the abnormal state inputted from the means 5 is transmitted from an abnormality informing device 6 to a host device 2 through an LAN 3. The device 2 is provided with an abnormality displaying means 7 for displaying the contents of abnormality.
