PURPOSE:To obtain conjugate yarn, having supple feeling and color developing properties and high mechanical performances and a fabric, good in tenseness and stiffness and having soft feeling and touch and further characteristics of high strength, water and oil repellency. CONSTITUTION:This conjugate yarn comprises a core component composed of polyamide fiber having 0.3-10 denier single filament size and a sheath component composed of combined filament yarn in which many ultrafine polyamide fibers having <=0.4 denier single filament size are uniformly mixed with many ultrafine polyester fibers having <=0.4 denier single filament size and forming a core-sheath structure in which the sheath component is arranged around the core component. The characteristic of this fabric comprises using the conjugate yarn in a part or all thereof.
