PURPOSE:To optimize the state of a clearance between both laps after thermal expansion so as to heighten assembling accuracy by shifting a fixed scroll in the anti-turning direction to assemble so as to uniform the clearance between the respective laps of the fixed scroll and a turning scroll after thermal expansion. CONSTITUTION:A compression mechanism part 1 accommodated in a closed container and driven by the power of a motor part through a crankshaft 3 has a fixed scroll 4 and a turning scroll 5 with laps 4b, 5b formed in involute curves so as to compress and discharge gas while moving a compression space to the center side by the turning motion of the turning scroll. In this case, the respective scrolls 4, 5 are formed of material with different thermal expansion coefficients and assembled by shifting only the phase of the lap 4b of the fixed scroll 4, formed of the material with a large thermal expansion coefficient, in the anti-turning direction of the turning scroll 5 from the positions of the respective scrolls 4, 5 and the phase positions of the laps 4b, 5b to maximize the possible turning radius between the laps 4b, 5b.
