<p>PURPOSE:To provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion of a structure where a secondary terminal can be connected with a high-voltage terminal easily and reliably in a small number of parts. CONSTITUTION:A primary coil and a secondary coil 22 are wound on a core and the core is housed in a case 1. A base part 8b of a Y-shaped secondary terminal 8 is fixed on a flange part of a secondary bobbin 21 and the end part of a winding of the coil 22 is connected with this base part. A high-voltage terminal 7 having a bottomed cylindrical connection part is fixed on the case in such a way that the side of the aperture of the terminal 7 opposes to the terminal 8. When the terminal 8 is pressed into the hollow part of this terminal 7, one pair of leg parts 8a and 8a are pressed contact to the inner wall surface of the hollow part by the restoring forces of the led parts 8a and 8a and a state that the terminal 8 is connected with the terminal 7 is maintained. A projected part 8c may be provided on each leg part.</p>
