摘要：: By the mounting of carton liners with corner flaps (18, 20) in freezing frames (24) it is necessary first to break the carton bridges (22) between the corner flaps and the adjacent wall panels, which so far has been done manually by tearing the carton bridges, with the risk of damaging the liners. By the invention it is realized that the breaking of said carton bridges (22) can be carried out more appropriately and without faults by means of an apparatus with a support plane (26) for receiving a stack of liners in a centered position. The support plane is formed with support areas providing counterpressure with an edge plate (36) directly adjacent to the connection lines (4) between the corner flaps and their adjacent wall panels (6, 10) and an edge plate (34) in flush with the folding lines (4) between the bottom panel (2) and the wall panels (6, 10), but without supporting at the corner flaps (18, 20) themselves. In addition, the apparatus comprises pressure means (54, 56) which are downwardly inclined towards the free ends of the corner flaps and controlled in such a manner that in being pressed down against the flaps they describe an arch movement, whereby the flaps (18, 20) are folded over the edges (36), causing a breaking of said carton bridges over the edge plate (34).
