摘要：: PURPOSE: To obtain a composition for oral cavity containing histidine, etc., and calcium carbonate, preventing reduction in pH of saliva, useful for preventing dental caries. CONSTITUTION: This composition for oral cavity for preventing reduction in pH of saliva contains histidine alone or histidine, one or more of inosinic acid, guanylic acid, phosphorylated oligosaccharide, low-molecular weight chitosan and sodium tripolyphosphate and calcium carbonate. The blending amounts are 0.05-4.2wt.% of histidine, 0.05-1wt.% of inosinic acid, 0.05-10wt.% of guanylic acid, 0.05-20wt.% of phosphorylated oligosaccharide, 0.05-10wt.% of low- molecular weight chitosan, 0.05-10wt.% of sodium tripolyphosphate and 0.01-1wt.% of calcium carbonate. Histidine acts as a pH buffering agent and can maintain sordes on tooth in the oral cavity or the oral cavity at pH5.5 or higher. The composition can be prepared into chewing gum, candy, troche, tooth paste, beverage and a hygienic solution for oral cavity.
