摘要：

PURPOSE: To enable enhancing of restorability against bending of an intraocular lens by constructing the lens of a copolymer containing a benzoic acid unsaturated ester monomer, (meth)acrylate and cross-linking monomer as requisite monomer components. CONSTITUTION: An intraocular lens is constructed of a copolymer having a benzoic acid unsaturated ester monomer given by formula I, a (meth)acrylate monomer as given by formula III and a cross-linking monomer as requisite monomer components, wherein X represents hydrogen atom, a 1-18C alkyl group or alkoxy group, halogen atom, a hydroxy group, an amino group or an aromatic group and Y is given by formula II (n is 0, 1 or 2) and R<1> represents hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R<2> represents 3-18C linear or branched alkyl group, a halogen substituted 3-18C linear or branched alkoxy group, an aromatic group or a heterocycle.
