PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an operator from being irritated by instructing the read of an original after the operator confirms any one of two control states. SOLUTION: An image processor comprises an image recording part (printer part) 1, image reading part (reader part) 2, operating part [operator control unit (OCU)] 3 and finishing device. The reader part 2 comprises an automatic document feeding part(ADF) 200 for automatically feeding a document to a reading position and a scanner part 250 for optically reading an original image. In this case, when the capacity of image data occupying a 2nd storage means at the time of image processing to image data stored in a 1st storage means is less than the free space capacity of the 2nd storage means, the original is carried at a 1st original interval and 1st display is performed. When its occupying capacity exceeds the free space capacity, the original is conveyed at a 2nd original interval longer than the 1st original interval and 2nd display is performed.
