- <p>A small milling head (22) is attached to the screw connection (21) with which the tap is screwed into one half (24) of a set of clamping brackets with which the tap is mounted on the pipe. The tap is screwed into the a tapped hole in the bracket while the milling head mills a hole to which the tap is to be connected A flexible seal (26), which is mountd around the milling head, together with a flexible sealing patch (27), which is bonded to the pipe, ensure that there is no leak when the mill breaks through the wall of the pipe. The pressure inside the pipe ensures that swarf created during milling can be flushed out through the tap.</p>
