- A sealed fluid-filled chamber contains a cylindrical body, on which a shaft rotates. A piston driven by the shaft moved in and out of the chamber. A speed-adjuster between the shaft and a driving motor reduces the speed of the former, while an electronic controller is provided for the motor. Links can be provided between the shaft and the pressure-control piston, together with stops on the shaft to limit rotation in the normal and reverse directions, thus defining maximum and minimum fluid pressure generated in the chamber.
