PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a strong polyurethane coating layer having high peeling strength on the surface of an acid amide group content resin medical device by forming a polyurethane coating layer on the surface of the base material after N-acilating the acid amid group on at least surface of this group-containg resin base material. SOLUTION: A polyurethane coating layer is formed on the surface of a medical device composed of an acid amide group-containing resin base material such as a catheter, an introducer, a sheath, and a syringe so as to provide it with anti-thrombus performance. The polyurethane coating layer is formed before or after molding the resin base material into the form of the medical device and in this case, an acid amide group on at least surface of the resin base material is N-acilated so as to form a polyurethane coating layer on the surface of the base material. The N-acilation is implemented by dipping the resin base material in the solution of acilating agent such as acetylation agent, or spraying or applying the solution on the surface of the resin base material.
