PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective radio call receiver with which the change of position registration to a calling center is prevented from being forgotten. SOLUTION: Concerning a multi-area type selective radio call receiver provided with an auto dial part for transmitting the data of position registration through a DTMF signal, when the new position registration is not performed to the center by using the auto dial parts 23 and 24 after the reception area of this receiver is switched by an operation part 14, an alarm operation is performed for calling the position registration from the alarm part of this receiver. Sather a speaker 18, a motor 20 or an LED 22 of the receiver is driven, further a message is displayed on a display part 16 for showing that the position registration is not completed, and the owner can notice that the position registration to the calling center is forgotten.
