PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear seat cup holder whose cup-bottom receiver does not project outward extensively when it is in use. SOLUTION: A rear seat cup holder is provided with a mounting plate 1 that can be attached to a mounting area on the rear side of the vehicle, and a cup-bottom receiver 2. The cup-bottom receiver turns between the extended position where the receiver slantingly falls by being axially supported at the lower part of the mounting plate and the vertical folded position. Cup carrier surfaces 8, 9 are formed on the cup-bottom receiver such that they become horizontal when the cup-bottom receiver is turned to the slant extended position. Accordingly, the cup-bottom receiver is used in a state where it is turned to the slant extended position. This enables to minimize the projection amount of the cup-bottom receiver from the mounting plate. As a result, passengers' risks to knocking their hands or legs against the cup holder by mistake are reduced when they sit in or leave from the rear seat of the vehicle. With the cup-bottom receiver being turned to the slant extended position, a cup can be held steadily by the cup carrier surface thereof, which becomes horizontal.
