The inventive method is characterized in that an electrically non-conductive track (30) or a comparable coating is applied to the respective free edge area (26) of both housing parts (12.1, 12.2), between which the anode blades and cathode blades (18) are led out of the battery housing (12), in such a way that said track (30) is provided at least in the areas of the blades (18) and such that the track projects over the free edge (20) of the housing part (12.1, 12.2), to which the track is fixed, and/or wraps around this free edge.
