PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the exposure of the clearance for oscillation, and the distortion of a connecting part at a lower hoistway of a crossover member by forming the crossover member into the shape of a rectangular cylinder consisting of a floor part, both side wall parts and a ceiling part, and mounting a reinforcement means on a lower hoistway structural body side of the crossover member. SOLUTION: A crossover member 26 is formed into the shape of a rectangular cylinder consisting of a floor part 26A, both side wall parts 26B and a ceiling part 26C. A reinforcement frame body 27 as a reinforcement means surrounding the periphery, is mounted on an outer periphery of the crossover member 26 at a lower hoistway side. The crossover member 26 is connected to the lower hoistway through the reinforcement frame body 27 in such a manner that it is laterally movable. According to this construction, the clearance for oscillation is not exposed. Further the lateral oscillating motion of the lower hoistway structrual body can be ensured at a connecting part of the lower hoistway structural body and the crossover member 26, so that the distortion is hardly found on the connecting part of the crossover member 26 at the lower hoistway structural body side.
