PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify equipment constitution through the omission of position detection in resuming operation by restraining a traveling truck immovably to rails to prevent attitude change even in the case of external force being applied during non-operation. SOLUTION: A traveling truck A placed on a pair of rails 1a, 1b is provided with wheels 3, pinions 5a, 5b and motors 6a, 6b corresponding to the respective rails 1a, 1b. A brake plate 8a is fixed to a shaft 7 of each wheel 3, and a brake pad 8b is disposed. Simultaneously with the stop of current application to the motors 6a, 6b, the brake pads 8b are operated to restrain the brake plates 8a to thereby make the wheels immobile to the rails 1a, 1b.
