PURPOSE: A grinder of a welding device is provided to grind a strip having a thickness deviation at a processing head portion of the welding device by automatically grinding the strip by a thickness variation of a grinding stone. CONSTITUTION: A grinder is positioned at a side of a processing head(6). The grinder includes a grinding section(20) for grinding strips and a measuring section(50) for measuring the abrasion degree of a grind stone. The grinding section(20) includes a moving motor(22) positioned at the side of the processing head(6), a screw(24) connected to a rotating shaft of the moving motor(22), a fixing table(26) which is screw-coupled to the screw(24), a grinding table(30) fixed to an end of a rod of a cylinder(28) installed below the fixing table(26), the grinding stone connected to a grinding motor(32) installed at the grinding table(30) through a belt(34). A pulse generator(22a) is installed at the moving motor(22) to control the movement of the fixing table(26) in up and down directions.
