PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enhancing the image quality by correcting the sheet feed error of a printer. SOLUTION: Effect of sub-scanning feed error due to production error of a sheet feed roller for feeding a print medium in the sub-scanning direction onto the image quality is measured actually for individual printers. At the time of printing an image, sub-scanning feeding amount is corrected based on the measurements.
