PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for surgical operation performing the identification of SLN (sentinel lymph node) and capable of more simply approaching SLN to perform evulsion. SOLUTION: The treatment instrument 1 for surgical operation is equipped with a cylindrical insertion part 2 having a forceps part 12 connected to the leading end thereof and the proximal part 3 provided to the base end of the insertion part 2 and capable of operating the forceps part 12 through the wire 21 inserted in the insertion part 2. A scintillation crystal 24 capable of detecting the radiation emitted from SLN is provided to the forceps part 12. One end of a light guide optical fiber 26 is connected to the scintillation crystal 24 to transmit the signal of the detected radiation by the light guide optical fiber 26. This signal can be outputted by the radiation detector 30 connected to the other end of the light guide optical fiber.
