摘要：: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printhead which can carry out stable discharge regardless of types of ink, and to provide its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The ink jet printhead has an ink repellent sheet at an ink discharge surface of the ink jet printhead. The ink repellent sheet contains a fluoropolymer consisting of a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoro alykyl vinyl ether and/or a fluoropolymer consisting of a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoro propylene. In the manufacturing process for the ink jet printhead, a perfluoropolymer consisting of the copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoro alykyl vinyl ether or the copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoro propylene is dissolved in a perfluoro solvent and coated to the ink delivery surface of the ink jet printhead.
