摘要：: Testing arrangement for a sealing body (2) that comprises a seal (3) arranged on a sealing surface (2.1), whereby the testing arrangement has at least a first illumination (4.1) unit for illumination of the sealing body with a light line (4.5) that extends over the seal and a height reference providing reference surface (2.1). An Independent claim is made for a method for testing a sealing body using a linear light illumination of the sealing body. The maximum height of the illumination light is determined and used with a formula to determine the thickness of the seal. The thickness value is then compared with a reference value. According to the method the seal thickness can be measured in two positions on either end of the measurement line, or in positions on two lines at right angles to each other, or over the whole seal.
