Plates (6-8) with opposing grooves (9) are screwed together to form a body (5) containing channels (3, 4). A distributor (2) for a heating channel system comprises a number of channels inside a body. This body is formed by at least two plates with opposing grooves so that when the plates are screwed together these grooves combine to form channels. The grooves have an elongated shape when viewed at right angles to the plate length direction.
