<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perfectly weld the outer peripheral part of a pour port and to keep the surface flatness of a liquid contact surface while well achieving the adhesion (or welding) of the inner peripheral part of a flange part though reducing a necessary welding area to reduce necessary energy to the utmost. <P>SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic welding horn having a recessed part 2 for housing the protruded part C1 of the pour port C formed to its leading end, the leading end 3 of a horn body 1 is equipped with a region 5 which has an outer peripheral diameter D larger than the diameter (d) of the flange part 4 of the pour port C and is retracted toward the base part of the horn body 1 on the inner peripheral side of the region 3A corresponding to the outer peripheral edge of the flange 4 of the pour port C and the retracted region 5 is formed into a composite shape of a stepped part provided on the inner peripheral side of the region 3A and the recessed groove provided so as to continue to the outside of the stepped part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
