PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element which prevents the occurrence of conventional problems occurring when it is produced by a resin molding. SOLUTION: The optical element has an optical function part on at least one surface and a flange part on the peripheral side of the optical function part. The optical function part is molded on the movable mold side of a mold. The optical element is ejected by the mold surface on the movable mold side corresponding to the optical function part to be taken out. A thermal shrinkage prevention part for preventing the shrinkage of the optical element in the direction perpendicular to the light axis during molding is formed in the flange part.
