摘要：: <p>An opening and closing apparatus adapted to remotely open or close a gate or door, the apparatus including at least one double acting hydraulic ram adapted to receive and be operated on by water at pressure, a fluid controller which has at least three positions; a first of which will effect a supply of water into the ram to effect an opening action of the ram, a second position which will effect a retraction of the ram and a third position in which the supply of liquid both into and out from at least a one of the ends of the hydraulic ram is locked so as to effect a lock of the hydraulic ram's position.</p>
