SOLUTION: The imaging system has an imaging part, a setting area storage part which preliminarily stores a setting area which is a partial area of a pickup image picked up by the imaging part, a data amount control part which performs control so that data amount per unit area of an image out of the setting area which is an image outside the setting area stored by the setting area storage part is less than a data amount per unit area of an image inside the setting area which is an image in the setting area stored by the setting area storage part to the pickup image photographed by the imaging part and an image storage part which stores the pickup image in which the data amount is controlled by a data amount control part.
