PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet ejecting device and an image forming device capable of preventing sheet(s) from being entrained into the mechanism by an eject roller without increasing the number of component parts. SOLUTION: A drive roller shaft 42 attached fast coaxially to a plurality of drive rollers 40 for sheet ejection is furnished with a minor diametric portion 42A beside the driver rollers 40 for ejection. The forefront 48A of a protruding part 48 protruding from a device cover 46 is positioned within the step between the minor diametric portion 42A and a major diametric portion 42B of the drive roller shaft 42. Even if the trailing edge of a recording sheet after being ejected contacts with the drive rollers 40 for ejection and receives a torque due to the drive rollers 40 for ejection, the sheet falls off downward upon abutting to the protruding part 48 and is hindered from being entrained into mechanism.
