摘要：: An on-board unit for an electronic toll collection system having a card charge function is provided to charge a smart card without an additional card reader by connecting directly an external PC to the on-board unit through an interface of the PC. A transceiver(110,120) transmits and receives data for collecting toll with road base station equipment. A signal processor(130) processes the data transmitted and received from the road base station. A PC(Personal Computer) interface provides an interface for an external PC. A smart card is inserted into a smart card socket(180), and is operated by a smart card driver(170). A central processor forms a data transmitting path between the road base station and the smart card when communicated with the road base station, and forms the data transmitting path between the external PC and the smart card when charging the smart card.
