- <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a coating agent which can be utilized especially and most suitably in the gluing layer of a thermal transfer sheet, excels in adhesiveness and in low-temperature stability and at the same time contains no toluene in consideration of reducing the unnecessary load to the environment. <P>SOLUTION: The coating agent of which binder resin has chlorinated polyolefin plastic as its principal component, and the chlorine polyolefin plastic has chlorine content of 20 to 45 mass%, and the number average molecular weight of 50,000-150,000 with its softening point of 50-150 degrees C.
